I think there has been a misunderstanding between the toaster set that includes 10 toasts and a single toast. not that this is important by any means...  :) :)

When and if it gets to the US if it is under $10 I will get somewhere around 20ish and a lot of extra taps from DS  for when all the used ones that get sold years later.

Is this more an If or more of a When?

Because these old sets look wonderful!... And I've got some US based klickys that would enjoy some toast with a frothy stein of beer.

It's a when.
This year's German DS add-ons will be next year's in the export market. The limited quantity items and monthly specials don't carry through, but the regular add-on releases normally do.

Thank you! I'm learning more everyday!... And I'll wait patiently for the Bakery and Beer Keg to find their way overseas. In the meantime, is there a simple way to tell what is a Limited Edition?

I don't remember any regular catalog sets that didn't make it at least briefly? There is the red Nessie, but that was never in the catalog - it was a monthly special.

some that I remember are 4334, 4335, 4336 & 4337. I do not think these micro sets were exclusives or anything. The strange thing is I do not remember ever seeing them on playmobil's US web site but now they are giving them away in Germany  8}

So I'm NOT crazy! I thought these dissappeared really fast, or were never available here at all.

I allways had the idea that these microsets were a nice idea but didn't do really well in the shops. You can still find some of them here i the shops. Allthough I've had to resort to Ebay and Marktplaats to complete the series.
But the new DS-items seem to do pretty well, so it would be very foolish not to release them world-wide  ;)

(bringing the discussion back to topic  :lol: )

I ownder if the moulds used for these re released sets have an operating life that will only allow a certain number to be produced beofre new ones are needed and ( i dont know i am just speculating ) in that case sales forecasts and sales so far will determine if its worth continue making them etc etc.  :)
