No I haven't put any glue in the shaft,
it sits there snugly so I don't have to. :)

So the first picture is the original, just shaved down.
The next is with a ribbon.

I like it with the ribbon, but I would prefer if it were yellow or green,
So I think I will wait for that. (I will probably order one on my next DS purchase.) :wave:

...meanwhile, you might like to know that the red tassels is probably the most correct color  ;)

ummm...i'm no authority on history...maybe its just what we see more in movies...is it ok if i say 'red is the most popular/used color'?
..I've not seen a green tassled asian weapon although an army would use green identification(on head covers/uniforms) for one of its units  ;)
