After several internet searches looking for info about Playmo, I found this wonderful and very entertaining forum. I have only begun to search trough all the threads and I don't have an avatar yet (I would dearly love a Pirate Queen,aaarrr lol)
I have been a huge playmo fan since I was a kid (long time ago) and have gone through all sorts of themes over the years. However, I seem to always come back to the Pirates and that is my current obsession, along with bjds. And in true hobby fun, I am mixed my two loves and now I have some very tiny (micro) bjds (Asian ball jointed dolls) who are Captain and crew of the HMS Overboard, a pirate ship that is being re-created piece by piece. (Wow, these pieces are tricky to find... got to go to the market area and beg for a bowsprit, like I even knew what that was till I got a broken one on my poor ship) At some points I hope to get photos up... still haven't found the albums here yet. LOL At some point I would also like to have a Schooner (ya gotta have someone to Pirate against, right?!?) and a third ship just for giggles. I have to be honest though, I also love ALL playmo and have spent many happy hours with big houses and tiny animals. If I had more room and more time I think I would have an entire Universe created. I would like to try some custom work and original stuff to go with my Pirates. I like to dream big. Hee hee
