The chronicles of Mittland Part 03 Time of the wolves

Some hours the present ones spent to exchange themselves over the events of the past months and years. Many questions remained open. Nobody found an explanation for the appearance of the two dragons. One had stated that GRANDOS's spell in the mountains of Weltende still worked. Therefore they decided that the dwarves bring the caves over the dragon stables to the collapse. The meeting hoped to reach in this way that nobody could arrive to more into the proximity of any remnants of the elemental beasts. It was also uncertain, who lady CHRONA had been real. They had examined the books in her laboratory, but nobody could decipher the secret indications. Thus they burned the writings and everything that they had found otherwise still in the laboratory.

After they had clarified, which questions they could not answer, they turned to the problems, which they could solve. Under the presidency of JURAS, to which all brought unrestricted confidence, the realms of humans were again arranged. One agreed to renew the kingdoms within the old borderlines again. SELLINAS would remain queen of the Bergreich. The Seenland was awarded to her daughter NIHRA as kingdom. With the best desires of her mother she left the Bergreich in the company of 100 women and men, who should go to her in the reconstruction to the hand.

Because TURAS likewise was from royal descent, he should become king of the Südreich. But he rejected thanking. LILIAN and TURAS returned to LILIAN's father. They wanted to marry. TURAS would terminate his interrupted training as smithy. ARN refused also. Thus the meeting raised the warrior TIRAN into the royal conditions. He would govern the Nordreich as a new king. After his coronation by a pontifex of the indescribable one, he appointed as his first knights his old friends EKWUS and the militaryful KUSDOR.

Thus JURAS returned the armament and the shield to the nomads. The enslaved nomads from the prisons and labour camps of the Nordreich were released already before and brought back home surely to their tribes. Likewise the nomads received back their robbed country. The tribes of the Wildes Land decided that the blind OREJAN should speak also in future for the whole people of the nomads. NUMUR would support him. After he had proven the fact that he understood to fight, OREJAN wanted to teach him now the art of the peace and to direct his heated mind in the correct direction. JURAS, who likewise was from royal descent, transferred however the rule in the Südreich. Like that it was close to his new friends with the nomads.

TURID returned to the parental lily castle. He governed Mittland as the new king. So should come back the peace, which prevailed before the  dragon wars, again in five of the six human realms.

In addition in the Fernes Land a change of reign had taken place. After the message of ARTRAC's defeat was brought to the Fernes Land, the people revolted against the dark Kalif and his soldiers. In a bloody civil war ARTRAC's myrmidon was dethroned, and his head was putted on the highest tower of the palace.

After the peace prevailed on the roads again, the humans of the Fernes Reich explained that they did not want to be ruled by a king any longer. Thus they elected five men and women, who should direct in the future the fate of the realm. After four years this council of the five wise ones should again be elected.

HADOR and B'EL wanted to return to the forests of Arboria. It was also to ARN to say good-bye. Although most of the meeting representatives accepted his decision to give up the royal dignity, then they were nevertheless curious, what his plans for the future are. Only too gladly he gave them the answer. „I will travel through the countries. With the help of GRANDOR's wolf warriors I will try to bring help to all those, which lost their homeland by confusions of the war. I want for all of them to find a new family.“
