@alison:   :lol: I know, it sounds funny to talk about gnus like some kind of celebrities! :lol: but I was thinking along the lines of whether the average child would recognize them. I spend a lot of time in zoos, and you would be horrified at how little some kids, (and their parents) don't know about animals!

the other thing we need to discuss is the poll itself

Do we...

Run the poll for     days. (leave blank for no limit) we need it to end but how many days?

Allow user to change vote ? yes/no

Show the poll's results to anyone ?
Only show the results after someone has voted ?  only pick one
Only show the results after the poll has expired ?

You're right...that's really horrible. I can't remember how often i stood in front of the koalas at Zoo Duisburg when some parents told their kids that these "sweeeeeeeet pandas from from australia only eat bamboo" :uhoh:

:lol: I know! Or looking at the melanistic jaguar saying, "the sign says jaguar, but jahuars have spots.  That's a panther."  :lol:

@ ras: I would say two weeks, yes you can change the vote, and can see results. IMO.
