Woman's headscarf in "Arabian Nomads" set 3585
« on: June 02, 2006, 11:59:20 »
I have a small query about this set...

Does the headscarf for the female klicky have a groove around the top for that blue 'bandage' piece which holds the pot on her head?

I'm assuming it does because it's almost impossible to balance the pot on the regular arab headscarf.  8}

As far as i know, no (too lazy to go downstairs ;D).
The blue 'bandage' piece 'balances' easily on the red headscarf. The pot is then placed on the bandage. They are not fixed.

Easily, you say? Hmm... maybe I had it the wrong way or something. :-[
Thanks, Brian. :)

I have a couple of those Arab headdress's and also one of those blue things and I can just manage to balance it on top but the slightest movement and it falls off. I always assumed that there was another type of headdress with a hole in it for one of the pegs on the blue part to slot into to make it more secure.

I dont have a problem with balancing the jugs, but then my women are only set up for a few seconds.

All the female headscarves are smooth, like the nuns black head scarf, or the white one from Mary in the Nativity scene.
