I use enamel paints as they're hard wearing and chip resistant (and they come in spray cans  :D ) You can get stuff formulated to cover plastics which is good, try out your local DIY store.

 :love: thank you for the interest W.O.T she'll be for sale at Christmas, I've a couple of other paint schemes I want to try out to go with her.

This is a beautiful ship, Emma, and I really like the printing on the sails.  An excellent paint job and such detail make your ships masterpieces! :wow: :wow: :wow:
