Really fantastic! You painted the horse hooves and manes on both, right? They look really sharp. And I looove the shield!

Thanks... And yes, I spray painted the hooves and manes on both, it was a NIGHTMARE! :) I had to blue-tape everything else, and cut around the contour of the manes... Ugh... I don't think I'll ever do that again. And the golden shield... it was kind of a goof, I over-painted and it ended up bubbling up... but I actually like how it turned out.

Think of it this way... when in battle he looses his sword, he can use the staff from the shield as a weapon... the staff is inbedded in the shield but when in need, a shiny glow comes out from behind the staff and releases it from the shield, while its deep inprint is still on the shield!!!  ;D

Yes, I love the bubble effect; it looks really cool. You should try nail polish instead of spray paint when doing details like this. I got that tip from Daniela recently, and I've been using it a lot. Nail polish works great on playmobil! You just have to be sure to use thin coats, just like any other paint.

oh my! I thought the bubble effect was a " french barroc" decoration. It looks great indeed!
