Museum/Deco-knightarmor
« on: April 26, 2011, 10:54:39 »
Hi

Two "knights" for standing as decoration f.e. in a museum, inside a castle or mansion along the wall or at the bottom of a stairway or such...

1st one is completely in gold-colour; I used a golden mummie-klicky for the body, head and legs.
The other one is completely in metal (except his feet which are black - I'll wash them ;D ...or paint them in metal later); I used the body and head of the Robot-special 4528 for him.

Resistance is futile, you will be boarded!

Very nicely done. I really like the gold one, he looks sharp! :yup:

Wasn't the golden one already in a blister? I ring a bell...

Hmm... :eh?:...now you mention that, I vaguely remember having seen the golden helmet and brestplate in a pic of a US-exclusive blister (which I don't have)... Was that one completely gold, the klicky itself too??
Will look that up. If it is so, it could have spared me the trouble of getting all the pieces I needed to make this one.  ::)

Jee... I had a quick search on Playmodb and indeed... there's a US blister with almost the same golden knight  :o
Only minor difference is that his hands are flesh-coloured, as is his head (mine has the golden face of the mummie under the helmet and a golden chainmail-hairpiece), and the vizor of his helmet seems to be black. Darn!  :hmm: Even the shield is the same!

Some of my customs are years old, (I'm starting with photographing some since past weekend, that's why I have started several threads)... Which year was this blister released?!
