18th century Redcoats

A few pics of some of my English Redcoats.
They are situated in the 18th century. I'm working on/with 3 regiments: 1st one (infantry or cavalry) is based on the redcoat-officer from the new blister-set 4127, 2nd one (infantry) is based on the pirate-captain's torso from the 4290 pirateship, and another one (artillery) on a servant-figure that came in set 3021 Royal Banquet...

Sorry for some bluriness or not very good quality of the pics, I've not photographed Playmo that often so I've to learn a lot...


First pic shows some guys from the artillery.
Second pic is a colonel and infantry.

The guards on the castle's walls and towers are the ones based on the blister-redcoat. I've given them other colour-hairpieces and crossbelts to be "degraded" to privates.

(the castle is the new small one 4866, enlarged with the DS extension-sets. The towers have a big opening towards the outside of the castle, I used some artillery-pieces to fill that void...)

I love how you used the 4690 pirate special torso for the redcoats and how you turned the 4293 pirate captain into an english captain!!! :)9

Two thumbs up!

The only change I would make: swap the silver collar for a black or white one (3rd pic). The combination of silver and gold buttons/embellishments is somewhat strange.

You did a great job on combining parts to make your redcoats  :clap: when those packs become available in the US I may just have to make some of these soldiers if you do not mind

Yes, I've thought about that too, but then I'd need 60 of these black or white collars for this particular infantry-regiment... ::) I find it not that disturbing so I used all the silver collars I had and bought a few extra.
Maybe I could get hold of black ones (the regiment based on the blister-redcoat has them but I'm not gonna disassemble these soldiers)...
Never seen the collar in white, except in a recent set from 2010... from the Special Agents-theme if I'm not mistaking.
Do you perhaps have the ETN-number for the white collar?
