4228 Pick-Up Truck with Quad Bike
« on: April 20, 2011, 01:52:37 »
I know this has been talked about but I didn't see a review.  Here we go.

Everything nestled in the box.

Contents

Here is the body section.

Here is the chasis section

I really like the front shocks.  They work but look cool.

The ramp assembly is pretty cool.  You can pull it out without moving the quad!

I paid 30 dollars for this set and the manager gave me a 3 dollar discount.  This set is RC capable so I need to pick up a RC module.

Oh forgot to mention my favorite part!  The hood opens up so there is an engine compartment!

Thanks for the review, very thorough
This is on my list but down a bit. I have most of the racing series and this is a cool addition. Hopefully I can get one eventually

Thanks for taking the time to do a review. We need this off road truck, the green one is one of our favorite RC vehicles. This one is interesting as it does not have a windshield and that would not be fun in the mud  :o I like the color of the ATV, it reminds me of a honda

I have yet to meet a person who has a shirt that matches his truck. I understand if it were a racing truck but there are no numbers on this one. playmobil thinks this is quite common. Is it common in Germany to dress like your car?

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Oh we too had so much fun when we finally fixed playmobil vehicles with RC's

I recommended many sets of rechargeable batteries . This truck and the 3181 fire truck are our favorite RC cars for performance on the carpets & bumpy tiles. We set up ramps and chases through out the house .  <:>

If those printed rubber tiles were proportioned correctly one could set up a large city and drive around like in "Death Race 2000"

I need rechargeable batteries and another module and car.  My kids are fighting over the one. :)

Nice review, Elric.  It's not a set I'll be buying but it looks great fun.
