Yes they used to get them before TRU and early on they were the only ones to get some of them.

Very true! But I want it as an island for my gorillas. It's the same baseplate as a discontinued add-on for the train sets. I kept putting off getting it, and now I missed it. :-\

There's literally hundreds of new ones on ebay, it seems, but at twice the price costco had it for. :hmm:

Stopped by TRU today and my store had the bus and ambulance. My 11 month old really liked the bus! Both were $19.99 and I came so close to buying the bus, especially with the 20% off.

Now I feel like buying the school, the bus, the gym,....geez, does it ever stop? ::)

I am finding it hard to resit a few things myself!  I am trying to find the hospital there, or the new police station...and a lot of other things actually.  I've walked around the store with a few sets I was only mildly interested in a few times, only to talk myself out of them at the last minute.  I'm an addict.  It's official.

yep, it's cute, really wanted to get it but I spent soooo much on Playmobil lately...now if the school had been on clearance I probably would have purchased both! :P

They had only 2 buses and 1 ambulance if I remember correctly...unless they had more unpacked in the back. This store does such a poor job at selling Playmobil. I found some sets way out of reach and sight, above the shelves of different areas in the store. ::)
