Beautiful work, and I really like the Lady
You could use it as a start of a Delhi Durbar diorama.

Very nice job. I was so wondering how you spread his legs to get him to straddle the beast. It must have hurt to have his groin ripped apart  :o
If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:

Thanks every one nice to hear you like them, even the nit pickers!!!!

Emma, what did you use for the part that actually straddles the elephant's back? Is it playmo? The part the person sits in looks like a crib.... I don't know how you are about sharing your secrets, but I'm curious!

Well spotted! It's a crib with a table stood on top. The steps are the seats from a carriage.

Very nice job. I was so wondering how you spread his legs to get him to straddle the beast. It must have hurt to have his groin ripped apart  :o

Oh yes a sharp knife, a bit of heat and PULL!!!!!!   :P

Here is the Rani from the top of the elephant and her husband the Raja.

Improvise, adapt, overcome ..... If all else fails FAKE IT!

...reminds me of my indian war elephant...I didnt trim her ears too, I couldnt bring myself to do that too  ;)

..BUT then making the Mahout do the split must have been painful for you, no?  :P ..anyway, the end result more than justifies the means
