That mech is much closer to the exo-skeleton on Aliens (a heavy duty lifter) - and so is the breather, by the way - then the combat one on Avatar. In fact, the one on Avatar is very similar to the one used on Matrix, so the license thing would get a bit bogged up with all those references.

Still can't see James Cameron's hand in those sets ;).
Cheers!

Actually, it’s based on a machine by Mechanized Propulsion Systems, Incorporated. I thought they sold out and closed shop years ago, but Google says they’re still in business. Maybe they just sold the blueprints for their first robot and stayed in business. I do agree that the robots from Avatard looks like MPS’s robot. (Gee, can’t imagine how THAT happened.)
BTW- They were profiled a few years ago in Popular Mechanics.

Just because the advertising presents these as two opposing sides doesn't mean you have to play that way.
You should have seen my “collection” growing up- Destro was the Warden of a prison (made of Legos), gung Ho was the Grand Admiral, and Tom the Paramedic (from Fisher-Price’s Adventure People line) was a medic on the Flagship.
If I’m jealous, you did SOMETHING right. Keep it up. :D
I Support Operation Anime Storm..

Andy, this concept is nothing new. Back in the late 60's/early 70's the US army was already experimenting with exo-skeletons.
Cheers!

I like the idea to put these playmo exoskeletons against some playmo T-Rex etc etc

I reckon an army of these EXSK's will be quite impressive !!!  ;D

If you hear the sound of the bell which will tell you that Grigori has been killed, if it was your relations who have wrought my death, then no one in the family will remain alive. They will be killed by the Russian people. :prays:
