When I started thinking about what dress my Countess should wear at Regent St. I had to go to the basis and start searching the web. I thought I would find lots of imagines and photographs. To my surprise I mostly found pics of Victorian dolls.
the thing that always caught my attention about Victorian dresses is the silhouette. Here is a very interesting drawing that I found.

With this in mind I was sure of what I wanted so I focused on the rest of the clicky. Another image that caught my eye was this lady and her sexy bare shoulders. Victorians were sexy....right?

this image doesn't say much but it was reminding me of something! what is the closest I have been to a Victorian lady??? My own great-grandmother of course.
Meet Alina Biouju-Blanchard.
