what happened to yours??

In 1999 to 2001 I had 6 igloo sets, 3 kayak & sled dog sets, with multiple individual Eskimo figures with polar bears on ice bergs, some sets came MISB, but I had to open & display them. Along with the Artic polar research Sno Cats, but due to a personal situation I was required to sell them,......it was heart wrenching! :( I never got any of the Lyra sets you have though, just the German releases. Your's look really cool :)9!

AWESOME, Luis! I'm SOOOOOO jealous!  :hissyfit: :hissyfit: :hissyfit: I absolutely love this old theme, but I never have gotten any of it. It's on the the list.... one of these days.

BB, I'm so sorry you had to sell these! What a terrible loss.  :-\ But I'm sure it was for a worthy cause.  ;)

Bill, I'm sorry about your loss :( - probably asking about it wasn't very appropiate, my apologies :-[

Bonnie, I hope you get a hold of one of these soon - I love this theme too! :cloud9: (can anyone tell at all? :P)

yes, I explained that and why ;) ;D (see below)

now the same gentleman but in a different presentation and with a little fellow (Lyra version) - size of box is a little bigger and box contains arabic lettering on it (a friend assumes this is because of the proximity to Cyprus and the commercial trades between this country and Greece)

Those are all great sets. I have most of the pieces from loose sets bough off of eBay except for the igloo itself. I really like them and would love to have more.

Luis
Thank you for posting the photos of your wonderful sets. This is one of my favorite themes, and I have most of the German sets, minus a glove and a baby pack, from when my children were young, although we never had the float plane and weather station.  We did not save any of the boxes, because these were "toys", so it was fun to see all of the box images again.  One of my favorite box photos has always been the child peeking out from the igloo on the 3465 box.  My children always wondered why the children in the set did not have gloves to wear.
