5119 farm set
« on: March 09, 2011, 14:07:22 »
Here are a few photos from Tillmobil on klickywelt I came across of the new farm building in set 5119 (http://www.playmodb.org/setpics/5119.jpg and http://playmodb.org//backs/5119_back.jpg).

It struck me that it has good potential for a railway building, maybe a station/goods depot.

Hm, that's a nice building! It strikes me as having potential for my zoo...

Nice one. I think it can be used in many ways and not just at the farm.
Cheers!

It does look like it can be used in a lot of ways  ;D Definitely good for a zoo!

Yes very nice building indeed. Shame what they do with some system x buildings though. I mean the open roof! Why not half a roof so from the front it would look complete? But this open roofs looks bad IMO-.
Anyway a buidling with a lot of possibilities!  ;D

what a weird looking building with those brown parts that do not seem to fit, color wise. I like the new part and will want to get a lot of them as I really think you could make something really neat such as what was suggested  by Gordon. I love the high double doors and I hope a tractor can actually drive in to this barn. It does not look like the 1/2 door has the upper half? is it possible to add it ?

I just do not know why though Playmobil does not think things through, the hoist claw that I guess is supposed to lift the new large round day bales will not be able to lift it to the 2nd story landing. I know it is to keep cost down but how much would it really cost to make the 2nd story a little higher. Kids (myself included) get frustrated when something only works 1/2 way

Thank you for the great pictures

definitely on my purchase list

I do see what you mean, Ras, about the strange colors. Even if the upper floor were brown, it wouldn't be so bad, but to have one brown wall section in the middle of all those white sections?  ??? Very strange.

Thanks for the pictures Gordon.....it doesn't look like a "Playmobil" building

Mad Nick
When I was a child
I caught a fleeting glimpse
Out of the corner of my eye.
I turned to look but it was gone
I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is grown,
The dream is gone.
I have become comfortably numb.
