Excellent review, Andrew.  What  a pity that for the shield and helmet instead of the silly double axe based symbol they didn't go for a double headed eagle.

Review much appreciated. But do you think the scabbard peg's on that side due to mold issues? Because I think the peg started off as a policeman thingummy, and in that case it makes sense on the right hand side ...

@Gustavo: what common sheath??

Maybe the proper name of that wouldn't be "sheath" .. ::)

I meant the usual part that clips on pegs, used for hanging swords and knives:

The blazon on his shield, as I already mentioned in that other thread, looks like a Klingon or Romulan badge, or perhaps from some other, similarly fantastic background. The same can be said of the pretty wacky looking yellow crest on his helmet. It doesn't really work very well in a realistic, medieval European setting, but he might not look to out of place among the Dragonland folk.

Thanks for a splendid review, Andrew !!!

IMHO, the "pretty wacky looking yellow crest on his helmet" looks like a yellow bat ...  ;D

Thanks again and all the best,
Richard

Um, yeah...

The Klicky's body has the same sort of hole in the side as is often used on police figures to allow clipping on a pistol holster.

 ;D

Dear All,

Many thanks for your comments -- glad to know people found this useful.

@playmofire: ooh, yes, a double-headed eagle would have been nice. Sadly, I suspect we can only dream of such things :toot:

Cheers,

AndrewL

the peg could have been very useful for me but samurai's short swords are on the left :'( maybe someday PM will produce left-handed policemen?  ;D

Thanks for the review, Andrew! :)  This Special looks to be very useful for parts, but they sure botched the heraldry. >:(
