Thanks Richard! :wow:
Do we know if it is still in production? ???
I guess not.

WoT, Playmobil made it as an exclusive for the Karstadt department store in Germany. Unfortunately, the only place that you could probably find one now would be on eBay.

Maybe the new PCC will suggest that Playmobil re-make the Victorian truck and automobile.

I like both houses and the furniture, the yellow bedroom is my favorite.  One of the best sets offered IMHO is 7411, the expansion floor.  You can do so much with the parts.  I too wish they would reissue the trucks, they are so neat and hard to come by.  :'(

I was lucky enough to find one complete in box blue truck in buenos aires a year and a half ago and paid for it 87 dollars. I don't know if it's cheap or not but I couldn't let the chance go by. I love that truck!!! I want the green now!

From the prices I see around the internet, it looks like that was a pretty decent price.

Oh and I must add that for the price, the guy brought it himself to my very living room!  door to door service!

What great sets-  they came out when I first started "collecting", rather than strictly playing...
Though I didn't have much money, and most of it went to the old knights sets...

But 5505, one of the few I did get, will always have a soft spot-  Great park bench, bare feet, and one of the most politically incorrect toys ever!
