This is a short review of this new blister pack. It is available at Toys R Us and Playmobil.com for $6.99
I really like these mid-size blister packs. They have just enough items to make a nice small scene and have great play potential. I think Playmobil is on the right track with these, keeping the set interesting with a lower price point.
This set has a horse, rider, fence, little boy, and a foal/colt/pony.
Most of the set is the same as 4191 Equestrienne. The only thing missing is the 2 white sock pieces for the horse. That set is $8.99 so for $2 less you are getting almost the exact same set plus a fence, the little boy, and a colt. A great deal.
The colt is light grey. I had wondered about that in seeing the photos online, and it turns out to be true. This is a new color variation not available before.
In conclusion it's a great value and plenty of play potential, just what Playmobil should be doing to take part in the US market.
