Construction of a New Bypass begins

Hello Everyone,

Here are a few pictures showing the construction of a new bypass that is being built in our town. These pictures show the very first stages of construction, ground preperation work, leveling and removal of excess soil. Once this is done the next phase will begin, which will include soil stabilisation, laying pipes, digging drains and finally laying the road surface itself. While this is going on two bridges and a tunnel will also be under construction, these will join the three sections of the bypass together.

I am sure the pictures will speak for themselves so I won't go into too much detail.

Well that is all for now, hopefully I will have a few more pictures showing how work progresses in the next few months. That is if I can build the specialist equipment needed to finish the project in time.

FANTASTIC shots Tim!

And a quick question: did your wife kill you after you made those shots? I ask because when I make my pictures I usually lie down on the ground. After doing the shots you did my wife would have killed me for soiling my clothes .
She gets on my case when I lie on the dry sidewalk (like this morning... ), imagine after your shots.

Thank you very much for your kind reply. It takes quite a bit of work to get everything looking realistic, especially when all the vehicles are clean when they should be really dirty! I think it all boils down to how you pose the klickies and position the vehicles. I have started to get the camera in a lot closer now, which should give you a klickies eye view

I am quite lucky in the fact that I haven't got a wife to nag me about my dirty clothes or the amount of money I have spent on Playmobil in the past Unfortunately I did get a clean pair of trousers dirty whilst taking these pictures even though I was trying not to . To make matters worse it was raining slightly as well.
