Hi all.

Great customs!  I think the flying owl is wonderful.  It looks like it came right from Playmobil.

The lamb poses are obvious when you see them - one has both front legs forward while the other is standing up more. On the sheep it is the feet - they are mirror images of each other. One has right foot forward the other left. I wonder if the brown sheep come that way too? I only have one of those so can't tell.

Well, two further customized animals for your site, Tim.

This time it's a jaguar cub ...

... and a quite simple one: a puma cub. (For both there exist no baby, so I tried to close the gap.)

(Actually it wasn't that simple, because I had to mix the correct color, and this is always a quite lengthy and most times also a frustrating process ...  ;))

Ok, Tim, I have again some animals (birds) for your site.

When I saw the marzipan swan on Animobil made by Andi (= Customizer) I immediatly knew, I need such an animal for my collection too (not knowing that Playmobil already had plans for such an animal to be released at beginning 2007). The basic Playmobil part from which the swan should be modelled was found quite fast: the pelican. With the Dremel multitool I removed the flap under the beak and completed the removal with a fine file. The throat has been lengthen under the influence of heat from a hot air gun; same for the tail which has been bended up and narrowed with the file. The finishing was done with fine sanding paper (grain 600). Painting was done with Revell enamel colors: white silk matt (airbrushed) for the body, a self-mixed orange for the beak and a tank grey for the feet.

And finally for this time a flying eagle.

The wings are -- as you already might guess -- from the vulture. The fixing is done with a combination of the original (folded) wings and those from the vulture; treated with the Dremel multitool and sanding paper that long, that both pieces fit tight and than glued together. So the wings can be removed quite easily in the same way as from the original vulture or the eagle.
Finally I painted the complete figure with a self-mixed brown shade (to have the same brown shade on the body and the wings) and the claws, eyes, and beak with Lufthansa yellow (silk matt) from Revell.

The flying sea eagle will come soon too, but will be nearly exactly the same -- just the head and tail will be re-painted again in white.

The swans look stunning, Jochen, as do all your other animal customs! 8-)

You have quite a knack for being able to spot which parts can be adapted to make the new animals, and the end results are wonderful. :yup:

I love the pic of the swan parents together with their offspring. Very sweet! :D
