To put things in the write place , Kingdom of Krull that carried out a surprise attack to the empire at the north has temporarily seized the lands between the mountains at the north and has made a very generous offer to the Empire ( see the empire Invasion thread ) that will be seealed with a tax tribute to the empire and a marriage and benefit the trades between all countries and especially between the Empire and Krull . !!!!

King Kellanved, ruler of Ceragem, rises slowly from his throne and approaches King Aun's herald. He places his right hand on the herald's left shoulder and looks him in the eye:

''Honorable herald, it is with great pleasure that I will welcome the King of Rutileo in our great city! Aun has been a good friend and our trading routes are more flourishing than ever! Please convey to your King my invitation to visit us! I am sure we'll have a lot to talk about!!''

Kellanved steps back a few paces and speaks again: ''But please, accept our hospitality before you leave! You must be tired from your journey! Rest, eat, drink and then be on your way!''

The Herald bows again,

"My Lord, it would be my pleasure to stay a day or two,
but my King anxiously awaits news of your decision.
I must return with all haste to bring him the good news.
However, my horse feels not the same haste, and is very tired.
So if I may, I will accept your offer of hospitality,
but only until my horse be rested."

''Of course my dear man! Our castle is yours!'' and by that he waves at a palace guard ''show this good man to the stables to rest his horse, and then he can be treated as a guest of the court!''

OOC

I think we should wait until tomorrow to show the passing of time,
Since the new reaching Aun Kerac would take a while,
And then him actually getting to Ceragem would all take about 2 weeks. :)

A herald enters the court of the King Kellanved.

"Hail King of Ceragem," his voice echoing throughout the chamber.
"I present before you his Grace, King of Rutileo, Aun Kerac."

I enter the chamber and bow to Kellanved.

"With hope I approach you dear friend," I say straightening up.
"It has been long since we last met,
and through that time our Kingdoms have been peaceful. :)
Our ports have traded valuable goods,
and my messengers have no ill news to say of you,
every time one arrives in your court.
I have heard news of your struggles between Ithaca and Krull,
and it is in these seemingly dark times that I offer you the greatest gift a man can give,
his lasting friendship.
Let us remove ourselves to a separate room to discuss these matters." :hatoff:

Of course not. :wow:
But you should know,
Aun would not be in armor during all this... ;)
He would be in his court garb:

***

Upon entering the other room,

"Kellanved, it seems that even in this short time,
both you and I have received disturbing messages from Krull.
Though Ithaca seems purged,
Krull has become an even darker foe.
Therefore I believe these negotiations need be made more then ever.

Let me cut to the chase,
I would like to propose an alliance between our two Kingdoms.
But not just any alliance,
and alliance that will hold."

I place my document on a nearby table.

"I wish for our Kingdoms to become brother Kingdoms,
Not only will we be open to more trade and freer boarders,
but I would like to propose right of military passage between our two kingdoms.
Ports to be used as landing docks, and as bases.

This will allow our armies to walk freely through each-others' lands,
and use each of our ports as rest areas for our fleets.

I would also like to propose automatic military engagement.
Should you or I get into a war with another Kingdom,
the other must automatically go to war with that Kingdom as well,
or at least help in as much of a way as they can.

This agreement will be beneficial to both our Kingdoms,
and a testament to how Kingdoms can interact.
What say you friend?
Do you support this document,
or have you any changes or additions you would like to make?"

Well, I though since he traveled he would be in armour. I'll see if I have that torso somewhere...

I'll get back to you about the document but I am sure King Kellanved Supports it fully!!

True I suppose,
but he would change before entering court.
If you cannot find the tunic,
a regular red tunic with a gold belt would be fine. :)
