Justindo, I am glad you saw the changes in this thread,
and I have put your Kingdom on the map.

As for this discussion of whether or not we should change Kingdoms
because of how many Klickies they have,
I will not.
I didn't make this map to show how our real Kingdoms look,
if you want to do that, that is fine.

But I myself will not.
I only have a very small castle,
and an army big enough for perhaps one Motte and Bailey.
I also have almost no townsfolk. :P

I didn't create the map for this purpose,
and judging my the responses your request has received,
I don't think we need to put it to a vote.

isn't Justindo's Kingdom a little too big in comparison?    Or was he the only one who would dare to be Georginetto's neighbour?  ;)

I am not sure, but in case you are not joking,
Justondo's Kingdom is the lighter gray one west of Belathre.
The darker gray "Kingdom" is the fallen Empire from before. :)

How are we going to measure historical time? Our period is equivalent to 1200-1400 AD in 'real world' time.  Shall we continue to use the real world zero point for an AD BC split? That would probably make it easiest for reference. If that's the case what is our current year? I can work backwards for historical periods but there needs to be some reference point to start from.

How about the fall of the Great Empire is AF 0? (After Fall)
Before then is all TE (Time of the Empire).
The time period now for our world is, lets say:
1000 AF.

That gives time for the retraction of Empire forces,
full scale rebellions to begin finally finish off the Empire Forces,
and for the remaining territory to form into Kingdoms.
Also, it gives plenty of time for a few stories about Kingdom splits,
and better times after the Empire, but the fall-out of culture, etc.

That may not be smart Giorginetto,
as you can see, the boarders of the Empire are all naturally guarded,
and even though the Empire has fallen,
it is still a force to be reckoned with.

They may not be able to invade other countries (as of now)
but they can certainly defend their country better then most,
if not any of the Kingdoms left on the map. :hmm:

OK that works well I think. I am going to drop the Smegl Empire in my maps and use that era as part of the Empire of Name Yet to be Determined.

Many thanks, WarriorOfToys!  Would it be too much trouble for my kingdom to occupy the remainder of the small peninsula in the northwest of it? ;)
