Very interesting! Thanks for posting this.

Besides that, this one made me laugh:

"The software is worth its weight in gold"

Didn't think it was a deliberate joke.

It was very interesting indeed. Thank you.

But Ali Baba, am I being thick, or are you thinking that software weighs next to nothing?!  ???

That's how I took it! Funny expression to use with software, because that would mean it's practically worthless!  :lol:

Sorry, maybe it was a bit of a nurdy thing of me to put it this way.

Example: weigh your pc, install software, weigh it again. Difference: almost negligable. Perhaps the weight of some electrons, if that.

I liked it too. But it seems a translation issue. You can say 'ist sein Gewicht in Gold wert' in German but he said 'ist Gold wert' in the German version and it went wrong later.
I found it interesting too that they are aware of collectors and even mention them there.
@geobra: Thanks a lot! :-)

Or maybe they are considering the weight of a new main frame computer to run the software ;), multiple software disc's ;D, etc., & gold being over $1,000.00 an ounce,......OK, we're stretching things a little, but hey it has made production of new theme's much better, so it is like gold to us collector's!  :)9 Thank you for showing us this excellent article!  :thanks:

Very interesting. It appears the increase in new parts the last few years has been a deliberate strategy, and they've searched out systems to make it a faster and smoother process.
