I always volunteered as a firefighter & EMT-I so I could answer calls of distress as much as I wanted without being told I was doing too much! I even bought my own firefighter personal gear so I could always carry it with me!

How do you know?  If your chap wasn't wearing his uniform we wouldn't know.  Whilst I agree that firemen (and women) are incredibly brave, in most countries it's a paid job (I know you and your competition entry are volunteers).  Should have entered our new SWAT officer but we don't know him very well yet and he won't take his helmet off.

How do you any of you know that Barbecue Dad doesn't drive little old ladies to church on his own time (he doesn't) or give up his time to run the Scouts (he doesn't) or help with mountain rescue (we don't have any mountains).  He works a 72 hour week to support his family and is a qualified first aider.

Most of these characters don't have much of a back story but yours has a uniform which speaks volumes on his behalf.

I think these discussions we're having about these klickys are hilarious, and really show how different the female mind is from the male mind! We've barely even thought about how these figures actually look; and that was all the guys talked about with the babes!  :lol:
