Honestly, I was never warm to the fairy palace, but after this I have to revalue my position .

Wow, Tims inspiration sure went far. This palace you painted sure looks better than the color choices Playmobil chose.

Would girls not want to play with something like this? or is it too cold.

Great job Tim (for the initial inspiration) and Emma (for taking it to the next level)

So do you put this on the market or do you keep them?

Hi Daniela if you visit my blog there's a video on the home page post you should be able to see.

just a question (of my daughter ...) where did you find this glass to put on the table ?  jeremy

Hi Jeremy,
the table top is just some mirrored card.

I think any little girl would be thrilled with this castle! I don't know why playmobil feels their castles have to be bright pink to appeal to girls.  ???

IF they were more like these then boys could not be so embarrassed when their friends came over also. It is just not fair, all boy themes can be played with by girls but if a boy has a girl theme he gets ridiculed by his peers. Just changing the colors would help make them appeal to both

I hope girls would like to play with it! I can't stop switching on the lights every time I pass it in the kitchen. It's just so bright and sparkly.

Yes I'm open to offers for the palace. It wouldn't fit in my display cabinets so I've nowhere to keep it out of reach of my cats  :-\

Yeah Playmobil have some very odd choices of colours. the original 3019 is nice with blue roofs and even the pink floors but honestly yellow columns and flower pots! Some time I'll replace all of mine with the white parts from the newer smaller palace.

Magnificent custom creation, Emma! :wow: The custom color combinations are excellent! The accumulation of small details tales this to a new level in customizing!
