Hmmm, that's very interesting. I'm sorry that quality is beginning to be a problem with playmobil. never used to be the case, and I hope after hearing feedback from the community they will work to fix the problems.
yeah... it is interesting and sad that this became an issue, seriously enough to creat a forum about it. Im sure GEaobra spies will work on getting a better quality control after reading about it BTW what are the hub caps?
That hubcap issues is quite annoying and I hardly see how this could have been an oversight. It only takes playing with any of the vehicles that those caps comes in to realize they rarely stay in. I bet the factory made the mold and goofed but figured it would just be alright and did not authorize a new mold being made. Out of frustration I never put them in as they will just fall out and I have too many to heat and bend them all
The hub cap problem seems to have arisen only recently, the first 3178 fire trailers didn't have this problem and my guess is that it's a result in changes in the composition of the plastic which had to be introduced in the last few years.
They're these, Gaston:http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-22-5990
