I just read this thread why do we need to put a flag in our signature ?? Our profiles indicate where we all are.... I dont want to change my signature, is it compulsory to put that flag in our signature ?? If so wouldnt it be better to have under our Avatar in that section rather than trhe main forum text area as it will be constanlty repeated 

.... and looking at a post above why having two flags  Doesnt that defy the original suggestion

It's not compulsory, but for those of us with bad memories it's helpful. In a lot of cases it's too long winded to go back to the profile all the time.

However, as you are a prolific poster, even I can remember what country you are in, and believe me, that is a GREAT achievement

If you read all the posts again, you'll see that I explained that there is no provision for this in the version of forum programming we're using. That's why PrimusPilus suggested members could add a flag to their signature if they really wanted one.

Nowhere did anyone say that it was compulsory to do so. I don't know how you jumped to that conclusion.
