I wasn't sure where exactly to place these.  This section does state 'photos' and these are not photo stories nor are they of my personal collection so ...

I know there was a thread a while back about old photos of the dioramas shown on boxes but I could not find that with the search engine. 

So, if any mod wants to move this please do so.

Here are some ads for/from the USA.  Note how minimalist they are. 

I wonder if this is due to the 'advertising standards' involvement and they were afraid of "misleading" ads of parents complaining they did not get "everything pictured in the ad" in the box?
