Nothing worse than a car crash. I had a serious accident along the A123 near Camberley where i lived in 2004, I was taken away in an ambulance, blood and all that , terrible experience. No one else was hurt and the accident occured due to a senior driver not seeing my car at the time when changing lanes, hit me, i lost control  at over 80mph and hit directly the barrier , my BMW M3 then was smashed in 3 corners but I survived and I was very lucky  . I have over 100 stiches to remind me of this accident , i look a bit like frankenstein but i least I survived. I drive exceptionally carefully and rather slow since then despite my current car being very fast , apart from track days of course and a couple of Sunday early mornings on empty motorways every once in a while  ...  ;D ;D ;D ;D

That was a lucky escape and I'm glad you've recovered from it.  Accidents, even small ones, are very upsetting at the best of times.
