Playmofriends Photo Contest

I don't like the themes idea for each month - i don't collect all themes and if I want to share a picture that doesn't match the rest then I'd need to wait several weeks or months to show it till it's my theme's turn - isn't that more limiting?

i'd prefer that only for specific holidays, like christmas, valentine's, halloween, etc

I'm not sure per se the photo themes would exactly match the Playmobil themes.  For example:  the photo contest theme maybe something like friendship, as opposed to say Romans or Victorian.  Because, yeah, I get what your saying.

I still find it kind of limiting though, if a month is dedicated to say war and i want to post a love related photo then i wouldn't be able to participate...

We don't mean Playmobil themes but themes in general like.... rain, fight, romance, something like that.... You use the clickies you have to shot the scene, that is the challenge!

well.... everyone would have to stick to the theme otherwise there is no point of making one, except those months when the theme is free and you can present the pic you want

Oh, are those two different things?  

I think we can keep the themes broad enough that we can all find something to do with them.

Right. We already have some themes in mind  and we want to make them interesting, but still rather vague so they could be interpreted many different ways. I don't think it will feel to restrictive, just offer a bit of a challenge.

Themes would be great! The ideas would be endless and could get everyone's juices flowing and end up with some great photos! Even if, we all are not "professional" photographers (as long as the pic is clear & visible).....its what's in the picture that reflects that month's theme that counts!

Yes, I think it will be so much fun to see the various interpretations of each theme, see what different people thought of. I'm excited about it!
