Sir Fergus McAngus
« on: January 16, 2011, 02:03:19 »
This is the story of how Sir Fergus McAngus came to be at Winterhaven.

When our story starts, Fergus McAngus, Earl of Barnhourrie is staying at one of his ancestral castles - the family's small holiday castle near the sea;
McCulloch's Castle near the Barnhourie Banks...

Fergus is the 2nd son of Angus, Lord of Galloway and lives with his father Lord Angus McAngus, his mother Lady Devorgilla,  his elder brother Archibald and  his younger brother Alexander...

It is a busy day at McCulloch's Castle, carts are arriving with supplies and all the servants are busy going about their daily duties...

Because it is a special occasion an extra large barrel of wine has been ordered ...

The occasion is the visit of their neighbour, King Murdoch, King of the Lothians, together with his wife Queen Flora, eldest daughter Rosamund, 2nd daughter Ailsa and young twins Hamish and Heather...

Since dawn Fergus has been up and about, first watching from the part of the castle looking over the sea...

Then from the balcony on the bell tower....

Watching, watching for the first sight of his true love... the fair Rosamund...

(to be continued tomorrow!)

Thank you for your comments - I was hoping to take outdoor photos, but whenever I've had time this week the weather here has been dreadful.  I'll carry on the story today.

The bell tower is this one Gaston

I managed to get it last September or so and only just had time to put it together this week, it is one of my favourites.

As has been mentioned by so many others, the side stories are fantastic leading up to the main event! I really like how you have made this such a unique creation, Elaine! Your attention to creating a custom scene is beautiful, & spot on!
