Blue robot
« on: January 12, 2011, 15:53:59 »
WOW :o! Another mystery solved! Well done! So far, I don't know of any unsolved parts identifications, are there any that are still not solved known by anyone else? ???

I know one unsolved mistery :the blue R2D2-like robot

On this link, you'll see the standard one :
http://collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3591.htm

But there is also a blue version with a different identification number on the "chest" (no picture available yet ; have to go home first)

Does anybody know where it comes from ?

It could be Strella (the former Brazilian company).... maybe Antex but I doubt it. I think they didn't get to make this type of robot at all.

Woo hoo :woohoo:! Another challenge! I agree with Gaston, I think it was Antex,...maybe Troll,....that had the Playmospace series in a later time in drastically different colors, like reds & yellows instead of the standard white! Thank you sweetking for getting our mind research gears turning again! We look forward to seeing pictures of your quest!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I am nearlly sure it is european, perhaps greek of spanish but probably german. I had my first one as a child around 1984 and at that time nobody around me had any contact with Brasil or Argentina. By the way, this part is quite old (early eighties) and was therefore produced before Estrela started to produce playmobils.

Antex or Trol could be somehow an answer, but I can't believe I received at that time parts from so far away.

I got a little lost... where is Bill's original question from?

And yes I think pingo is correct This one is both Antx and Mattel.
There is also a red and yellow robot like that from Estrela!

Early in the times of Playmobil the Mattel toy company was under license of Playmobil to produce several toys like the 3525 fire ladder truck with different decals, & the Playmospace theme in different colors! They were packaged in Playmobil boxes with Mattels insignias, & if I'm not mistaken a Guaranteed fun or your money back!, promise!
