Before we start with this short story I would like to give some information in regards to the Winterhaven Jousting Tournament (from know on abbriviated to WJT)
The picture count is running high and I just noticed some of them are not top quality, out of focus and so on. Also I will photo shop a couple but hope that that imagery will be translated by the viewers to the other pictures, because giving each picture that treatment would make me edit pictures until 2012!
The current plan is to start the tournament festivities on Thursday evening CET (Central European Time), followed by the first round of jousting on Friday morning, the second round of Jousting Sunday Evening, top 16/top 8 Matches on Monday evening and the Semi finals and Finals on Tuesday night.
I am actually skipping the 15th because I am leaving on the 14th for a wedding in the UK only coming back on Sunday evening.
With everything going on this is a very tight schedule so there might be some delays but currently I am still hopefull.
For know enjoy this little photo story

It’s an early morning in Winterhaven. Sir Merriadoc is wandering through town, deep in thought about the upcoming jousting tournament. Little Marc, the son of Yannick the Carpenter, comes up to Sir Merriadoc excitedly.

“My mom has a surprise for you, please follow me.”

As they approach the yellow house, Marc starts yelling “MOM!!! MOM!!!” and soon Belle, the seamstress, comes out the door. She curtseys “Sir Merriadoc, thank you for taking the time to come. I hope your preparations for the tournament are going well?” Sir Merriadoc nods in reply “I have a surprise for you in that regard. Please follow me.”

As they walk around the little house Belle nervously fidgets with her hands. “I really hope you like it. Please wait here.”

She walks a bit further and from the back of the house she leads a fully caparisoned horse.

When it is finally in full view Sir Merriadoc is searching for words.

“Tha….Tha…Tha..Thank you” he finally stammers “It is beautiful.” Belle smiles happily “I am glad you like it. I hope it will bring you good luck in the tournament.” She slowly starts taking the caparison of the horse “Here you go! Make us proud of the Knight of Winterhaven!”

This custom Caparison was given to me by Cowabounga. Thank you very much Arnaud, I know it has taken forever for me to reveal it but I hope you enjoyed it!
