I've heard that before, but then who did wear horns on their helmets??  Where did it come from? ???

No one wore horns on their helmets. ???
It is slightly possible the Vikings might have worn horns on their helmets
for ceremonial/religious practices,
But never in battle.

I believe the idea came from an old cartoon show!
People are just too influenced by television! ::)

This is soooo funny!

Are these Vikings precursors to Sven and Torvald?  Speaking of whom, when will we see them again?

Well...rereading the story....it does seem more like a ceremony then a battle. So I guess it's no problem afterall :-)

Yes they predate Sven and Torvald by 5 years or so. Both of them made cameo appearances in my Halloween Castle photos. I still have one last Jungle episode needing to be put together, and I want to do another Viking Garden Center set up in the next couple of months.

Good!  I have been wondering.  Can't wait to see Sven and Torvald again!
