? about waterfall colors
« on: January 07, 2011, 18:58:33 »
I'm trying to get a hold of an additional grey waterfall - However I just found it as add-on under 7249 and 7270, which are not the colors I want it in - those are brown/reddish and DARK grey:

I want one in LIGHT grey, like the one in this Magic set:
http://collectobil.com/catalogue/items/3896.htm

Or is it the same kind of grey? from the pictures I can tell one is darker than the other one - does anyone know if this waterall ever came out as add-on in light grey? Also, does anyone happen to have a spare one to trade or sell? ;D I don't need it brand new :P

PS I know there's a light PURPLE one from a fairy set but I'm not looking for that one

hmmm that's strange...the first 3896 set I bought had this waterfall (see attachment)

My other two sets are still sealed in box, never opened them so I always assumed this sets' waterfall was always pink...

Yeah, i had thought they were pink, too, so I was surprised to see what it said on the database.  ??? maybe there were two different versions of this set? I thought when I had seen it on ebay it had a pink waterfall.

Might be, yeah... I just had a closer look at my boxed set and the waterfall appears to have both light grey and pink shades of colour  ??? maybe it has to do with the light?

the one waterfall from the fairy set is grey in the box picture - mine INSIDE the box was grey as well, not purple

the only purple waterfall I have came in this set:

it also comes in this set, which I do not have:

both were released after 3896....are you sure your waterfall doesn't come from either of those Panos?

you are right - the one in 3896 looks much lighter in the box...seems they didn't do a good job matching the color w/ the add-on

7249 just is a very bad picture- its light grey. There is no waterfall in dark grey existing.
