Hard to find those types of helmets though!! Not even sure what original set they came from. If anyone knows or has any id be willing to trade  :)

If it helps... uniformity was very uncommon during the Medieval ages... ;)
So having 1 or 2 other helmets to mix up with those wouldn't hurt.

ehhh yea i know this but to me having the units completely uniform is way more fun and impressive to look at. also makes it more difficult for the collector (me) to have high numbers of each unit, which in turn is part of the fun of it for me anyway.

Very true, WarriorOfToys, but I agree with BlackKnightsRealm that uniformity amongst armies is quite impressive, which is why I like the Romans so much! :roman:

BlackKnightsRealm, I'm very impressed with all of your units and look forward to seeing your other ones and a giant army shot too!  You've put a lot of thought and care into your customs and it shows.  So far my favorite unit is the palace guard, but your longbowmen, heavy cavalry, and light cavalry are all very impressive.

Yeah, I see your point. ;D
My army was going to be the same
until I realized that just as easily I could make it completely period...
That is part of the fun for me. ;)

A great Unit, these longbowmen are a fearsome forcee!!

It's this item BKRealm: http://playmodb.org/cgi-bin/showpart.pl?partnum=30-21-8182

So it's available from the new Falcon Knights 4868 and 4869! It should also be available through DS...but probably not yet in the US :-(

DS is Direct Service!

There is a while section dedicated on it:

http://www.playmofriends.com/forum/index.php?board=22.0

It's basically Customer Service from Playmobil where you can order replacement parts and also extras of parts you need.

Well I have completed the ranked units in my army and we will not cover the common soldiers.

Today I will be discussing the siege engineers.

Siege Engineers

Regular infantry units who operate artillery engines such as battering rams and catapults. Armed very light with regular chest armor, helmets, and have sword belts. These soldiers are specially trained in using these types of machines as well as castle defense machines. They are experts in siege warfare as well as siege defense. Not only having a knowledge of siege machinery but also medieval age knowledge of fire, explosives and chemistry. Most of what these soldiers do involves the use of both hands, making shields, heavy armor, and weaponry cumbersome. Instead, they are simply armed with sword belts.
