Great conversions, I cut up some spare weapons myself now and then, but I never worked with heat treatment to weld parts together. It looks like a promising alternative for glueing them.

For weapons and such,
yes welding makes more sense.
And, I think, looks a bit better.
But for certain things, like the feather on the hat,
and the bayonet...
I would not have like to heat treat them to weld together...
It is very difficult to get them to stick,
and you can see that in the sword...
Which was supposed to be a bit longer.
