ARN terminated its meal in silence. A long time he observed the humans in the area. Then he rose and approached one of the tables. The guests conversed over mouse troubles in the North realm. The rodents had eaten the supplies of the grain. Arn listened carefully. When the discussion changed to other topics, ARN went to another table.

Thus ARN collected at each table information. The overall view, which appeared for him, did not please him at all. Surely it could be that the North realm was afflicted by all kinds of disasters, troubles and epidemics, and thus new supplies had to be put on. But likewise the North realm could rig on the war, which the wolves had prophesied to it.

I've just now found time to sit down and catch up on this story. I love it! It is very intriguing and mysterious... can't wait to see more!
