Boiling in my own....
« on: December 29, 2010, 00:53:28 »
As we say here.... Im boiling in my own juice...which could go together with "be carefull what you wish"
Many times I said that the Argentine market was empty of PM and always the same Antex sets were on sale. Well... fate had said to me BAZZINGA!
I went to another toy store today...... I never saw so much new PM in my life! New to me I mean.... sea expedition, ghost pirates, fairies...to name a few.
So ... surprisingly the sea expedition sets are cheap compared to other sets, even smaller sets.
I've been looking for reviews but couldn't find any ( I suck at searching, but I did my best, sorry)

My questions for experts now is....if you have to buy one, which one would you buy?
The whale set is the cheapest.... and I like it... I think the whale is one of those unique PM itmes!! but does it worth it? Anyone has it and can share a review please?
The submarine Im very atracted to.... not cheap but not bad..... diving cage with sharks.... and some others... what do you think?

Thanks in advance!!!
Gaston

The only one I have is the shark cage one, so I can't help much. But I do really like the set. It was one of the first things I bought when I got back to collecting. The shark is a very nice size, and the cage is very realisitic. There's not a lot to it, but what's there is very detailed.

I have 2 of the 4469 exploration ships, the large 4473 submarine, & I think 8 of the 4479 deep divers, the 4500 shark cage, & the matching 5859 seaplane. I want to get the rest of the entire series, but it may be a while before I get it all completed. If I were you, I would get all that I can while they're available! I highly recommend them all! The large whale & under water sea life sets look awesome! If you get them, be sure to give us a review on size & quality!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

yeah
that is my problem.... myquestions was... which one would you choose of you could only buy one....
anyway... I went there ready to buy 2 of them. the submarine and the whale sets. long story short.... the submarine price was wrong and it was indeed 50 dollars more expensive than the price in the tag. So I could buy just that one. If there is not a review I will make one on the weekend.... I plan to buy the whale next...just don't know when.....

thanx averyone for the advice!

it was $122 here.... I told you all is 3 times more expensive..... If I had here the same prices that in USA.... I would have literally three times the amount of PM that I have now... don't make think about it... it is depressive  :(
