Playmobil will probably never do this because they've gotten rid of our beloved Victorian theme, though some of this would work for (rich) western people. However... I would LOVE a Victorian "technology" add-on in realistic colors. The 19th and early 20th century saw some amazing technological advances. They should be immortalized in Playmo.
[A few of these have already been mentioned in this thread.]
This would include:
- a treadle sewing machine with matching cabinet table (a Playmo item I have wanted since I was little; I even bought a non-Playmo mini sewing machine as a kid so that the klickies could sew.)
- a gramophone
- a typewriter
- a Penny Farthing bicycle (the Victorian theme had tricycles, but I don't recall any actual bicycles)
- a telephone
Other possibilities for Victorian add-ons (hey, while I'm dreaming, I might as well continue.):
- an early post box (The first post boxes came about in the 19th century. As a kid, I also ended up buying a non-Playmo post box.)
- a horse-drawn fire engine
- an enclosed carriage (I know some of you have awesome customs using stagecoaches, but it would be cool if Playmobil released one in colors that match the Victorian houses better.)
- the lamppost redone in black
