Sorry but i dont see that selling much ... 50s is too far back for people to get interested , though i might be wrong as the ' golden era' for US may have appeal to some , but for today's kids ??????  :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm: :hmm:

It may be a good way to get more adult collectors! A little advertising,.....and tah dah! ;)

show kids a model of a new car and one of a 50s car - i bet at least 50% will like the 50s car more

adult collectors will like the theme for sure.

Speaking for mine, yes. He's as fond of 50s and 60s American cars as he is of modern cars, he likes hot rods and the idea of a drive in movie fascinates him.

I think it's a fabulous idea for a theme, and love it or loathe it, the music of the late 50s and early 60s (Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochrane etc) is known worldwide, as is the "scene" which went with it.

I would like to see an Elvis, James Dean, & other specials from that era, however there would probably be a royalty problem.
