The retro 50's era theme would be great, Skywalker! Playmobil wouldn't be able to say,...it's limited to just the USA market, look at how tried & true the western cowboy & Indian, along with the Confederate vs. Union themes have been over the years. They have been there in the beginning and reintroduced over & over. There are still people collecting them.

I don't collect modern themes. I do have a few modern sets but I would buy everything in American Graffetti style theme!

...the 5 year old daughter of my best friend has a model of a chevrolet corvette 50s in mint green ( playmo scale ) - she has some playmos and her best ones are allowed to drive in that car - she really loves it - my friend said it´s the toy she plays the most with

Elric : same here - i would go in the store and buy the hole theme at once.

Could you imagine a bunch of rat-rods in playmobil. Geobra could even advertise (if they ever get around to it in the US that is)  this theme at classic car shows

wow - what a feedback. i think the idea has potential...

and like Bill said i also do not see a problem with an authentic US theme. people will love it in the US and outside because it is authentic. also it might be a great way to make playmobil more known in the US which is not the baddest thing...

the egypt theme was nice but i think this is better !

...and i see a lot of custom stickers for the rods...
