Im glad the ghost pirates are on their way out - good riddance as far as im concerned. Not so glad about the 4290 - currently the pirate theme is quite tiny, and i wouldnt want it to go the same way as the western one. re the specials, i agree with you. why is the conquistador already being withdrawn? maybe PM received a number of complaints from people of aztec/mayab descent?

I highly doubt that would be it - most people of that descent are quite staunchly Catholic and the people who would complain about that are those of primarily European descent.

Thanks for the translation....I tried copying and pasting it on playmodb...but seemingly the list is too long. So sad many of them are getting retired!! But on the brighter side, they have new playmobil coming in the future!!

Yeah, it came out fine. That's a lot of sets, including some i like. I'm sad to see the sunroom 5281 go. I'll just have to hurry up and get it this year.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Playmobil soccer sets supposedly get the axe years ago (but didn't really go)?

You know, I really love pirates and I really did try to like the ghost pirates, but I just could never get myself to liking them at all.  The three headed sea serpent is cool - but that's because of the serpent, not the rider.  Hence, I never bothered to get any.  Wonder if I'll regret not have gotten any?

I wish they would have tried to reenergise the Dinosaur line, instead of just letting it stagnate ...
