Wonder if I'll regret not have gotten any?

I would get one if I were you  :-[

No way,.....at least 5 of each ;)!
Forget about all of the other stuff,....all we need is the reintroduction of the 3526 Fire Engine!

I'd get it! I've made the mistake a few times of ignoring a set until after it retires, and then realizing how great it is and having to pay twice as much for it. Makes you feel pretty stupd.

Hey Wesley, you have to at least get 4800 ghost pirate crew... I wasn't very keen on the Ghost Pirates either but I did buy that set just to have some of them. And you can always hope that the other sets will show up at Winners/Homesense in a year or 2!

There's nothiing more effective than not buying a set to help it towards early retirement.  ;)

I'm sad to see those Egypt sets go ('specially since I never bought any of them), but there really is no place for me to fit them into my current Playmobil sets.  And then there's all the physical room they'd take up.  I need to just stick to my animal/habitat collecting.  :-[

And I too am going to voice my bewilderment at the retiring of those hyenas.  I got all of the Africa river sets (plus the ostriches) for Christmas this year and noticed that the hyenas were the only box that didn't have a shiny Oppenheim Best Toy Award sticker.  Personally, I thought the hyena figures were nicely detailed and well made with good articulation too.  All four of their legs move as well as their neck and jaw which should mean plenty of play possibilities.  Why the hyena rejection?  ???

Bill, I love your vampire's "pet"!

I've paired up the 3 I have with my 3 Count Draculas, complete with rubber dog leashes :giggle:!

It reminds me of these pictures I saw online several years back:

I'm sorry to see the Egyptians and Pirates retired so soon.  I wonder what, if anything, will replace them.
