Sad news :'(! A lot of my collection was supplied by RRS! It seems more & more independent toy shops are discontinuing Playmobil! Another one lost! :o

Thanks for the heads up, Aaron & Jenna!  I got my order in.   I am so sad to hear that they will no longer be carrying Playmobil.  :'(  They will be sorely missed!

Maybe not!

Maybe if they realise how well things have been selling and how much people appreciate them and the fact they sell Playmobil (and the free shipping in the USA for 40!) they might reconsider.

It would take a groundswell of support for them and a follow-through after.

Something tells me stocking all those DS sets would be quite the overhead and in these economic times ...

So, maybe if they just had the regular sets as opposed to DS as well, then they might continue.

Hi

Part of what I liked about the site was that they did stock all those sets creating a great inventory of old sets and ones that were listed at a discount. I found one site that still has new steck add ons. I do not know where they are located but if you tried to stock a regular high traffic store than I see your point but if they have a cheep warehouse that the internet traffic is run through than that could keep overhead lower.

I do hope they are just reorganizing as I have been relying on this place for years.

It is hard to imagine they sell more over-priced G scale train set buildings than Playmobil - but I may be completely out to lunch on that.
