I missed the first bit and joined it at number 49  :'(
I sat through all the rest sure that Playmobil would be at least in the top 20, so never even saw what little bit there was  :hissyfit:
However as Sandy said, "It's quality that really counts, not quantity of votes"  :) - (He's back on the Christmas list for that   :xmascheer:)

It wasn't that bad,

Playmobil did feature in other parts of the show.

The old builders lorry made up part of the 2nd 0 in the number 100 for the opening titles.

It was also there for Evil Kenevil's stunt show with 2 playmo builders in the small crowd.

There was also a large image of it during the talky bit about the corgi James Bond car.

I also noticed a couple of figures on the table top when the alphabet blocks made up either number 27 or 29.

I still enjoyed the show and found it interesting in places such as how Barbie was discovered.  :o

Lego is a good toy BUT Lego has mass marketing nearly perfected, while Playmobil just does not get it.  Period.

If more people were exposed to Playmobil it would easily take of in leaps and bounds.  I also think children are heavily influenced by their peers to such an extent that they want the toys their peer groups have and if their peers are not into Playmobil then it really is peer pressure on them.  Sad to say, but true.  Yes, there are exceptions, but today with everyone wanting to be like the Joneses and that acceptance being such a part of mass society, it is no wonder ...
