CAR BOOT BARGAINS!

We went to an indoor car boot sale at my old secondary school this morning, and I had quite a haul

1st Buy

this is the quickest purchase I have ever made. We were close to the front of the que when it opened, and on the 1st stall I noticed this on the table.

I immedietly asked the price, and had the exact note in my pocket which was handed over.



The price was £10!!! and he was an old friend from school, so he packed it up for when I had finished looking round.

And when I went to collect, I didn't realise that it was in its box, and perfect condition too!!!

2nd Buy

Just a small one, a Romans gladiator due pack. One that I didn't have

This was the most exciting, as it was all in a nice blue plastic box, although what it was exactly couldn't really be seen so I just paid for it and got away quick!



Price £3 for the lot!!!!!!

I trawl round charity shops, school fairs everywhere in the area and there's not a single klicky to be found!

Same here! Must be something to do with being north of the border, I suspect.

Either there are not as many Playmobil buyers in Scotland, or (and I think this more likely) they hang on to their sets and pass them down to grandkids or other family members, because they appreciate it's real value.

(...and the Scots are also selling it on eBay rather than giving it away for a song. )

This is great, Damo! What finds, and at such a great price! It's nice to buy playmobil from people who have no idea what it's worth.

Ah this is fantastic Damo!! and 3123 is an exclusive!!! Really really great!! 

Once again I really wish peopel here would sell their items in car boot and garage sales... or charity shops... Oh hold on, now that i think of it, we have no open spaces for car boot sales...not garages in our houses (nor gardens for that matter, in the city at least) and...believe it or not, there are no charity shops...

Let's face it, Damo is the Guru of car boot and garage sales!  I am so glad you don't live in south central Pennsylvania.  Great buys, Damo.
