Of course once I read the title of the set it makes sense.  It is cafeteria mit 'hausmeister' ...  (janitor) - literal translation would be master of the house or housemaster - a much nicer term than the English equivalent.

The English set title is just, "school cafeteria" - no wonder people are scratching their heads over the inclusion of tools and a guy in coveralls ...

Oh, that's very interesting! So the title in German tells you there is a janitor included.

In many German schools the janitor/caretaker/facility manager runs a little shop with sweets, sandwiches, soft drinks a.s.o.
I don´t know why they translated it "cafeteria"

Well, that makes a lot more sense! I was wondering why all the cafeteria had to offer was a few sweet rolls and some drinks!  We don't have anything like that around here. Some high schools have a soda machine, but that's it in my area. You only eat at lunch time and then when you get home from a long bus ride, sometimes at 4:30 or 5. I hear some places there are vending machines with snacks.
